I spent nearly 30 years as an actor, director, playwright, and producer before becoming a history teacher in 1995. I did mostly stage work, but did get a few national TV spots. In 2007, I wrote and presented a speech to a Joint Session of the Oklahoma State Legislature during Oklahoma's Centennial Celebrations. I portrayed Theodore Roosevelt, who was president in 1907.
